The world has never seen such freezing heat

Warmist enthusiasm for claiming that anything and everything is evidence for their favorite crisis has reached new levels of absurdity. A new UN report cites clouds of soot and other particulate matter (i.e., real pollution) rising over 13 of the biggest third world cities -- places like Cairo, Bombay, and Beijing - as a cause of global warming. "Some" particles absorb heat, the report claims, and warm the air. But, at the same time, the report claims, the clouds of particulate matter "mask" the effect of global warming by reflecting heat, not absorbing it, and "tamp down rising temperatures by between 20 percent to 80 percent...."


So which is it? Somewhere, George Owell is smiling
