Draft Day Location Moved

The NFL has officially confirmed that the 2006 draft, scheduled for the weekend of April 29-20, will be held at New York's Radio City Music Hall. After being held for years at Madison Square Garden, the draft moved to the smaller Jacob Javits Center in New York last year. The NFL actually toyed with the idea of taking the draft on the road, but those plans appear to have been shelved for now. We will have particulars on ticket availabilty and the like closer to the draft.

Any doubts about Texas QB Vince Young's actual speed may have been erased at today's on-campus workout Austin where the former Longhorns' star reportedly stopped the clock in just under 4.6 seconds in the 40. The bigger question, though, was how well Young would throw the ball and that is being answered as we speak as Young workouts in front of as many as 150-200 personnel people from around the NFL.
