The annual NFL Scouting Combine gets started later today in Indianapolis when the first group of players to be tested this week goes through orientation, have x-rays and undergo the Cybex test. By the end of the week, over 330 prospective NFL draft picks will go through 4 days of physical and mental tests as well as a battery of interviews by interested teams.

Texas QB Vince Young, expected to be among the top three players selected at April’s draft, confirmed earlier this week that he will not run or throw at the Combine in Indianapolis this week; Young, though, will make himself available to teams for interviews. Young will finally work out for pro teams at the Longhorns’ pro day in mid-March.
